Join us for this ONE-NIGHT ONLY acting class on Wednesday, July 8th at 7pm- approximately 9:50pm. The most important thing happening in a scene is often the thing that isn't being said. In this scene study class, actors will explore subtext, denial, and hidden objectives through scenes inspired by improvised scenarios and we'll use scripts from shows like Severance, Industry, Tell Me Lies, and Friends and Neighbors. Actors will learn how to play what's underneath the words, create tension through restraint, and bring greater depth and complexity to the on-camera work. **Adults 18+** ***Please Note*** Elizabeth Byland is a working professional actor. Occasionally, a professional booking may conflict with a scheduled Wednesday class. If this occurs, the class may be rescheduled or offered remotely in order to stay on track. ***Class Capacity & Auditing*** Participation spots are limited. If the class fills, you may register as an auditor and attend as an observer. Should a participant withdraw, auditors may have the opportunity to move into an open acting spot. Of course, you're also welcome to remain an observer. There is never any pressure to participate if you'd prefer to watch and learn.
