Join us for this ONE-NIGHT ONLY acting class on Wednesday, July 1st at 7pm- approximately 9:50pm. Okay but before you eye roll over the cheesy romance genre, here me out! And trust me, this class isn't just another Hallmark sappy scene study. Look, today's most compelling romantic scenes are built on presence, not performance. Inspired by scenes from Nobody Want's This, Shrinking (there are some beautifully romantic scenes in this show, even though it's more of a feel good-comedy), Off-Campus, One Day and maybe a few other's sprinkled in... this class focuses on authentic connection, subtext, longing, vulnerability, and the small moments that reveal the biggest feelings. Perfect for actors looking to strengthen chemistry and relationship work on camera. (DISCLAIMER: The characters might have an intimate relationship, but no scenes will be assigned that require actors to participate in any kind of physically romantic touch.) **Adults 18+** ***Please Note*** Elizabeth Byland is a working professional actor. Occasionally, a professional booking may conflict with a scheduled Wednesday class. If this occurs, the class may be rescheduled or offered remotely in order to stay on track. ***Class Capacity & Auditing*** Participation spots are limited. If the class fills, you may register as an auditor and attend as an observer. Should a participant withdraw, auditors may have the opportunity to move into an open acting spot. Of course, you're also welcome to remain an observer. There is never any pressure to participate if you'd prefer to watch and learn.
